El dolor

Nuestras lágrimas nunca se detendrán
Yo te pregunto
Sí, tú
¿Eres tú el hombre que siente el dolor de ese viejo en la calle
vistiendo harapos?
Su rostro habla de una vida dura.
Lucha, hambre y sed, sus compañeros.

 
Carente de belleza, de inocencia, de juventud
Sus ojos están secos
ya no tiene lágrimas.
Los días de llanto han pasado
Él se prepara para ir a casa, por fin.
Su cuerpo desgastado
Su corazón roto y desgarrado por la injusticia sin fin
Otra amiga que lo acompaña a diario.

Oh, a él le importabas
Oh, cómo depositó toda su fe en los autodenominados líderes
Fracasos en cada paso

Él te exhorta
¡Presta atención!
Sin pruebas cree menos
Las palabras no tienen sentido sin actos.

No puedo escribir sobre el dolor de los demás.
Solo sobre el mío
Mis ojos no engañan
Escucho los gritos de los pobres
Veo la lucha de los espíritus heridos
Olvidados por gobiernos disueltos hace tiempo

Es nuestra tierra.
¡Lo imploro!
No la destruyas.
Hónrala como
La naturaleza protege a los suyos.
Esta es una prueba de tu proceder
Hacia todas las criaturas de Dios
Grandes y pequeñas.....

The Pain"

Our tears will never stop
I ask you
Yes you
Are you the man who feels the pain of that old man in the street
Wearing rags
His face speaks of a hard life
Strife, hunger and thirst his companions

Lacking the beauty of innocence of youth
His eyes are dry now
He has no more tears now
The crying days have passed
He readies for home at last


His body is worn
His heart broken and torn apart by endless injustice
Another friend daily accompanying him

Oh he used to care
Oh how he placed total faith in the self described leaders
Failures at every turn


He exorts
Pay attention!
Believe less without proof
Words are meaningless without acts


I cannot write about the pain of others
Only my own
My eyes do not deceive
I hear the cries of the poor
See the struggle of injured spirits
forgotten by governments long disbanded


It's our land
I implore!
Do not destroy it
Honor it as
Nature protects her own


This is a test of your behavior
Toward all God's creatures
Great and small.....

Biografía

Shahid Abbas es un  joven autor y poeta internacional, galardonado con múltiples premios , proveniente de Karapla, Tandlianwala Faisalabad Pakistán. 

Es autor de "Words from Nature" y coautor de "We Speak In Syllables". Shahid está trabajando en un libro de colaboración de poesía "Verses of Meraki" que se publicará en los EE. UU. 

Sus obras también se presentaron en varias antologías internacionales y diversas plataformas literarias tanto en forma impresa como en línea. 

Las obras de Shahid ya fueron traducidas a 10 idiomas diferentes. Shahid también es el recién nombrado Director de Cultura en Pakistán del Estado de Birland y se encargará de la promoción de las actividades literarias y artísticas. También es el coordinador recién nombrado de El sueño de la igualdad en Pakistán. 

La Cámara Internacional de Escritores y Artistas (International Chamber of Writers and Artists) con sede en España lo nombró Presidente de la Sede de CIESART en Pakistán. 

Shahid será el presentador de Haiku TV (EE. UU.) con Sir Michael Bee. 

Recibió varios premios y reconocimientos internacionales, ha aparecido en varios festivales literarios internacionales que representan a su país, Pakistán, en la promoción de la paz mundial y la literatura mundial, algunos de los cuales tienen su sede en India, Portugal, Ciudad de México, EE. UU, Colombia, entre otros.

Biography

Shahid Abbas is a young,  multi-awarded International Author and Poet from Karapla, Tandlianwala Faisalabad Pakistan.

He is the author of "Words from Nature" and the co-author of "We Speak In Syllables". Shahid is working on a poetry collaboration book "Verses of Meraki" to be published in the USA.His works were also featured in various international anthologies and diverse literary platforms both in print and online. 

Shahid's works were already translated into 10 different languages.

Shahid also is the newly-appointed Director of Culture in Pakistan of the State of Birland and is to handle the promotion of literary and arts activities. He is also the newly-appointed Coordinator for The Dream of Equality Pakistan. Camara Internacional de Escritores and Artistas (International Chamber of Writers and Artists) based in Spain appointed him as the President for the CIESART Headquarters in Pakistan. 

Shahid will be the Host of Haiku TV (USA) with Sir Michael Bee. 

A recipient of several international awards and recognitions, he has graced a number of international literary festivals representing his country Pakistan in promoting world peace and world literature some of which are based in India, Portugal, Mexico City, USA, Colombia, among others.
